Sellaband has been able to draw in members, raise funds and launch bands with real ROI.
7 bands "launched" in first year.
29 bands/$1,450,00 raised
The administrator wins because they find out which bands will be a hit with audiences, get the audiences themselves to produce the band (eliminating their risk) and most likely have a hand in the real world management dollars of the band.
The bands win because they get much needed exposure and fans.
The fans win because they get exclusive access and "ownership" of new bands and a chance to make a little money.
It's a win, win, win and a great example for any organization looking to crowd-finance.
