How do you feel about the addition of Private Groups (in Converge) and Private Campaigns (In Reveal).

I think private groups are a good idea because it enables sharing of content with specific community members that you may not want to share outside the group. I can imagine where this would be helpful in an enterprise where employees from different corporate groups need to discuss semi-private items of interest, like sales volume and strategies to increase sales.
Private Campaigns are also an interesting and valuable addition to the mix. Imagine where one could use this to accept input, comments and ideas from members for a particular survey or campaign targeted towards a particular audience, and have the results and/or comments unpolluted by other campaigns or intiatives. Other companies have private groups available with polls or survey capability, but without many of the enterprise features that Neighborhood America offers.
In short, I would love to see these features and think they'd provide real value!

Agree Heidi. Both are much needed. Your points are spot on.

We have been asking for private groups since our site first launched. You can do private chats, but our community doesn't have enough users online to make this an option. I think private groups would be a very nice addition that would give web 1.5 users the comfort they seem to want.
