INgage Networks scored a win with our recent announcement of two new key executives, Mike Mullen and Tim Perez. We are also gearing up to welcome our newest customer…a major University that is set to change the world of enterprise social media as we know it, providing the conduit from which an entire State will reap the rewards.

It is so exciting to be part of this growing company, although the dynamic environment also means that, while change cannot be predicted, it is always to be expected. On the flip side of this fabulous news was the not-so-great news that we were losing Jim Haughwout, who served as our CIO for nearly two years.

Jim will be sorely missed, as he has spearheaded the technical teams that have worked to develop our phenomenal ELAvate platform. But while Jim has devoted his career to INgage Networks over the past two years, this has also been a period of time for separation from his family. Understandably, Jim has made the decision to put family first and discontinue the exhausting struggle of navigating bi-coastal living between CA and FL. We wish him and his wife well as they settle in to their new locale, and thank them both for the sacrifices made on behalf of INgage Networks.

Near and dear to my heart was learning of a similar decision reached by our CMO, Tom Edwards. Tom has been my anchor since he joined INgage Networks – my work equivalent to a Knight in Shining Armor! From day one, he earned the respect and admiration of our teams, and led us into unchartered territory – accomplishing great feats along the way. Like Jim, Tom has led our company through considerable progress in a very short time, and for that we will always be grateful. When he joined our team, Tom knew that relocating his young family to Florida would come with tradeoffs. But the reality of raising young children away from the support of extended family and lifelong friends became too difficult. It is time for the Edwards family to return to Dallas, but in this departure our ties remain intact. Tom will continue to guide and support our efforts as we need it, and of course we wish his entire family joy and happiness while re-establishing their Texas roots.

As always, we persevere through change. We continue our commitment to lead this industry and will continue to expand our executive team to lead the way. And as we prepare for the exciting announcements ahead, I can only say ‘stay tuned!’

Thanks for being so transparent, Kristi. Many organizations would frown at the idea, but I believe openness creates opportunity.

Tom and Jim, you will be sorely missed by the gang! Thanks for the "family first" example you've set for all of us. Sending our best . . .

Dear Kristi & Team,

Thank you very much for the thoughtful farewell!

It was a privilege to help contribute to the success of INgage (or "the Neighborhood" as I will always think of Naples). I am grateful for the experience.

...and--OF COURSE--I will 'stay tuned' for your future announcements regarding the new major university customer on the horizon. This new relationship will be a "game changer" that many will study and try to emulate. I look forward to watching its success unfold!

Keep up the great work!

Best Regards to All,
Jim
